Pic requests of wide tires
 

I have a 78 long bed 2wd. and looking at either a set of 275s or 295s on the back and either 255 or 275s up front. Can anybody post some pics of what they have? currently im on 15x 7 or 8 rims and i think 235 tires. its terrible when my rims are wider then my tires haha.


Can you please post a pic of your truck and what size rims/tires you are running. My plan is in the future running running 17s with 335s in the back and 275s up front with a nice dish and a mini tub in the back but like i said thats the future. so if you have anything ismilar to that setup id love to see that and drool over it :D

I would like to see pictures as well. I've saved a ton of pics on my computer off this site, I'll see if I can find some and post them up. I'm sure other members won't mind.

I've seen people run 275's up front with a drop coming close to rubbing. and 295's in the back shouldn't be a problem as long as you have the right wheel.

i had a 75 short bed awhile ago. and we had 315s on the back but had to do a little cutting and widening on the tubs in the back. ill see if i can find a pic

beautiful, damn i wish they were on 15x8 rims i wanna see how the buldge out, if its bad and looks stupid or if it gives it a nice little mean stance.... did you have to do anything to make it fit, or do they sit easy

275/60/15 look real good on 8" wide rims.i think they look better on 8" than 10" I have a set mounted on rallies but not on a truck if you want I post a pic of that

yea thatd be awesome. Here is how my truck sits now, i got her for 500$ and have less then 150 bucks into the truck and drive it daily since new years. i bought these rims for 60$ and swapped my stock tires. a local tire shop will give me a set of 275s for 25$ a piece used, and i have a mount and balance machine at the shop, The passenger side is pitted real bad so i dont post pics of that hahaha

Iam running 15x7 with 235/60r15 and 15x10 with 295/50r15.

DANG! maybe this thread was a bad idea. i wanna go get my freaking tires now! Love the satin look, thats how im doing mine but a stripe running the length of the truck will be gloss

Yes they are 10's
