Wanted - 88-94 Tape deck only
 

Looking for a factory tape deck for a '89 Chevy silverado. This is the tape deck unit that goes in the center of the dash. Anybody have one that works?

I think I have one that's out of my 92 I had. Let me check.

I've had a little experience mix-n-matching these tape decks to factory radios. I did learn this: If you get a tape deck with an equalizer, the equalizer will not work with your '89 radio. Tape deck will work fine. I think the equalizers were offered in later years and the '89 radios weren't made to accept them. Good luck. :)
