Good replacement spring

Looks like I need to replace the front springs on my truck. I lowered it with 2.5in western chassis spindles a couple months ago and today I was able to get it out and really drive it. I went on some roads that had some dips and I got some major scrubbing on the fender lip. I did the old knee on the bumper test and was able to get it to hit the fender lip by bouncing it. The springs are factory so I figure it is time for them to go. The PO told me that the front shocks were new when I bought it 5 months ago.

Get the light duty half ton springs since you are lowered. I asked for a set of 1/2 ton springs at the parts store, and they sold me the HD set without telling me. It leveled out my stock pickup. Made it look like a 4X4.

When I lowered it (same spindles as you) I swapped them for the standard duty Moog springs. In almost 10 years of driving it with that combo it never bottomed out. BTW, 255/70/15 tires on 8" ralleys.
