Re: NNBS 07+ Leveling Kits

I had a Ready Lift 2.25" levelling kit in the truck, it didn't change the ride much at all. I was very satisfied with it, until I wanted more. Now I have a Rough Country 3.5" lift/levelling kit, it's lift a 2" levelling kit and a 1.5" lift kit, more then enough for what I want.

You don't want to go any bigger then 2.25-2.5" on a levelling kit, or your driveline angles are going to be at bad angles. The 3.5" kit includes a drop bracket for the diff, and has an UCA option (which I opted for), which helps bring the angles back to a good angle.

Re: NNBS 07+ Leveling Kits

Hey Nate, I used the U-shaped spacer that goes on the bottom of the strut from Rough Country http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=537435 I didn't notice a ride change. But I will say that most people don't even notice that I added the spacer. The rear of the truck is a 1/2 inch higher than the front ;) Nate

Thanks guys.

I was lookin at the rough country spacer. The trucks I've seen with it look better than my stock setup.

I'm concerned with wear on the front suspension so you've seen no wear on your truck Nate?

Re: NNBS 07+ Leveling Kits

I haven't seen or noticed any wear. I only have 9800 miles on the truck. I did have an alignment done after I installed the spacer.

Thanks guys. I picked up a rough country kit for a decent price but still not sure what I want to do. :)
