Re: K10 oil pan
They guy I'm doing it for also request that the t-case shifter stay in the stock location. So the lq4 will be located in the sbc location. Also the truck is a 86 k10. I read some people have to notch or remove the front crossmember , but I'm sure that's due to engine placement and driveline angle .

I have a 85 k10 burb and i used dirtydingo mounts and a stock truck oil pan. I am not sure if my frame mounts are bent or what but my pan cleared the member everyware except the front threaded tab that the plastic harness deal bolts on to. But that side of the motor sits low for some reason. Off road design makes a tubular crossmember that gives extra clearance. I asked them and they said to order the big block one. The pan did not hit tell my motor mount bushings twisted with the factory member.

I've seen the aftermarket crossmembers but I was thinking and hopeing it would work with the truck pan and stock crossmember.

Mine did. Tell something bent. The main reason I got that is it bolts to the frame and the motor mount area together.

Re: K10 oil pan
It is like GM designed this engine for a 73-87, they fit that well.
