shaved door handles

I just shaved the handles off my truck and installed some solenoids from autoloc. After replacing all the crappy relays that came in the kit it worked great. My problem is I got 35lb solenoids and they are very loud. Has anyone worked with these before. My last truck used a kit from Dakota Digital with servos, they were much quieter.

Place a piece of dense 1/4" foam or Dynomat between mounting bracket and door. It doesn't fix completely but it does help. I'm using their 50lb units. You might even wrap some Dynomat around the solenoid itself.

Bolt in kit from AVS hands down best in the business! Anything else is junk. Autoloc stuff left me stranded more than once.
