Rear crossmember under bed
How is the rear cross member attached to the bed floor? Trying to raise my bed floor but did not want to remove the rear crossmember my roll pan is attached to.
I was thinking it was spot welded, but was not exactly sure. Posted via Mobile Device |

If you are referring to number 13, GM calls it a Sill, and it is part of the bed floor...it does have it's own part number so I assume it is spot welded in. Might have to dig in with a flap disc or roloc to find the dimples...

Re: Rear crossmember under bed
If I remember correctly I drilled 26 spot welds... Was not fun, but doing it this way I kept my bed lined up while moving my floor.
