Engine pictures
I would like to see some engine shots, for some ideas on running wiring. I'm replacing the engine wire harness in my late 70's 305 V8, and would like to see creative ways to run things.

Re: Engine pictures
Its nothing fancy, but this is my 79 305 V8.. These were taken shortly after buying this truck. The pink tie wraps are long gone. I cleaned up some of the stray unprotected wires too.

Hey Rich.. I dont see any wires on my engine either. I ran a differt gas pedal and used the hole for my harness. I do have an aftermarket harness mind you. I ran the wires to the headlight from under the inner fender and the plug wires are around the back of the engine and under the headers. For small block you can use Corvette wires. The only wires you will see are the ones gong to my turn signal lights in the hood.

Re: Engine pictures
Thanks for the pictures, lots of inspiration for how mine might look someday. Plenty of great ideas turned into great engines and I'm sure others, like myself, that like to see what's out there appreciate it. Can't get enough.... keep them coming.

Going a different route... actually this is a picture from about 5 years ago. Been a little slow going, just got the body work done and the truck painted last month.

Re: Engine pictures
Wow, so many cool compartments and engines! Love the alternates like the Buick and the Hemi, but I'm also impressed with the eye candy big blocks. I'm also a fan of the inlines. So much to choose from. It's a good thing I can only afford what I already have or I'd go broke trying to figure out where to go next. Those Cal Custom styled BBC valve covers look especially cool.
