Does Inline Tube get their brake lines made on Jupiter?

I ordered a set of S.S. brake lines for my 82 in January. They still havent shipped them, and always have a lame excuse for why they haven't shipped... I'm going to assume it's because they are made in outer space... Or they are just a pathetic company... Cancelling my order tomorrow. What a joke...

Prob keep screwing it up because its stainless.

No reason for getting stainless. They are performance wise actually worse since the are more brittle. Their main benefit Is for show cars that sit. That way brake lines don't rust.
Changing your fluid every year will go a long way toward everything's longevity

I ordered all SS brake lines and transmission lines for my 86, and got them shipped to NC in 4 days... too bad you're having an issue

Curious why you guys aren't making them yourselves? Copper/Nickel looks great and lasts without rust issues. It's worth investing in a mastercool hydraulic flaring tool that you can make any line with and get a return on investment. If you're looking for show quality you can always have them chromed too...

I don't think I'm qualified to make my own lines... tried it may times, never a success at it, so I bought a replacement set :waah:

That's a really nice engine

And exactly who does that? Brake fluid is almost as abused/ignored as the gear lube in the rear end.

Someone who really loves there Chevy lol. I do it cause I run dot 4 and I need to keep my brakes at peak performance considering they half work with half the vacuum that my motor makes

I should get some nickel copper lines maybe. Where does everybody find theirs

that Dot

I find my nickel copper lines on Jupiter, same as the OP.
copper/nickel is just a plating SID. The lines are steel.

I did not know dot4 fluid required annual changes.
Thanks for the info!

Keeps moisture down since I take mine to a road coarse at pacific raceways its a good idea to keep it fresh. Brake fluid is hydroscopic so it absorbs moisture right out of the air and even though your hoses. And we'll Washington is high in moisture.

Amazon... Not cheap but it's a heckuva deal compared to the $450 I spent 10 years ago (that was a cheap price then). and... I agree. With this tool it's so easy a caveman could do it.

The only thing this kit won't do is the 37° double flare fittings. If you need those get the 37° adapters.

Re: Does Inline Tube get their brake lines made on Jupiter?

AN fittings are 37 Degree SINGLE flare.
No such thing as a 37 degree double flare

The adapters are advertised by Mastercool as "37˚ Flaring & Double-Flaring"... They exist so I'd guess there's some obscure application that calls for 37˚ double flares. I've never dealt with 37° hardline fittings and they aren't included in the Universal tool set so I don't have them.

How often do you track your truck? You must have some still photos somewhere right?
How did it handle? What kind of lap times?
