Passenger side power window issue
So over the weekend I replaced my passenger side window motor, but when I hooked power backup I could hear the motor turning on, but the window didnt move. I pulled the window regulator out and tested the window switch and had power, I also pulled the regulator at of the door and moved the glass up and down with no problems. Could it be possible that the window regulator arm might be bent? I noticed also that I had to force the top right stud (of the four bolts that hold the regulator in place) into the hole...so something is weird with the regulator. Any thoughts?
In pricing a window regulator I noticed that the majority were sold without the motor attached. If I were to buy just the regulator, how would I know where to install the motor at on the teeth??? 1986 Chevy C10 |

Re: Passenger side power window issue
There is a gear on the motor that lines up with the teeth on the regulator. You would have had to have lined up the teeth to bolt the motor on to the regulator.
