17" DOT approved Hutchinson double bead lock wheels
 

Hi everyone,

I have been talking to Hutchinson about some forged 17" double bead lock wheels. The cast 17" ones they have don´t fit over my big brakes. They told me that unless I don´t get more than 25 wheels made, the forging company wouldn´t do it.

So now I´m trying to see if anybody here would be interested in a set of these wheels.

Specs: 17x8.5", 4.75" (5") backspacing, 0" (+6mm) offset, 8x6.5" BCD, double bead lock, forged, DOT approved, 8 spoke design, weight ~31.8 lbs per wheel, load rating 3200 lbs.

25 min quantity -> $1200 per wheel
50 -> $1100
100 -> $1000, etc.

Maybe if a race team or vendor would get involved and the number of wheels would go up, they could come down to $700 a wheel or so...

Please let me know if there is some interest, so that I might be able to get this wheel built! For pictures of the rendering please PM me and I´ll send you a pic, can´t post them in public...
