Introduce Rowley and Myself

Hello all I have been a member of the forum for a few weeks now and asked a few questions, but have never introduced myself or shared my ride, named Rowley, named by my 2 year old son, Parks. This pickup is actually for him so suiting he named it. He was on a diary of a wimpy kid kick, walked out into the garage one day asked to go for a ride in Rowley, I guess he associated the red hair and the red paint? My name is Ryan. I purchased the pickup from a kid, I work with his Mom. The pickup has actually changed hands 4 times in the last few years, but I know each one of the owners. Most importantly the guy who did all the work on the truck. He purchased the truck in Arizona, he owns a paint and body shop here in town. He repainted the truck, redid all the interior and had the transmission rebuilt. I purchased the truck for $6km with only 21k on it since the rebuild. It had the original stock 305, with who knows how many miles. In the last week I have since pulled the 305 and my new crate 350 should be here any day and will be put in this coming weekend. I took this challenge on myself. Prior to this the most extensive thing I had ever done was change the oil pan in our 99 Civic. I purchased a book called, How to rebuild your chevy small block. Followed the steps 1 by 1 & poof out came a motor. :metal: Without further ado here are some photos of the truck, the future owner, the break down and pull of the motor and the updated engine bay awaiting its new motor.
