Re: show me your home made mud flaps
I don't have any pics unfortunately, but my Uncle was able to get from the county some old speedlimit signs (if not those then rectangular ones.)
He painted them black, mounted up. They look great and fit really well actually. |
Re: show me your home made mud flaps
Might try an RV store. They dont cost much to just buy. As for homemade, Ive seen diamond plate and sheet metal. I think rubber looks best, like on semi trucks..

Re: show me your home made mud flaps
i bought a piece of stainless steel (18 gauge), & pop riveted it on to some low-buck wally-mart flaps for my stepper, spiffed them up nice

Re: show me your home made mud flaps
Got mine at the local O'Reillys, ask at the parts counter as they keep them out back. Check also any local truck stops.
Get creative. Up north, I've seen whatever was around. Snowmobile track, scrap mudflaps someone else dropped, plywood hanging on chain, rug remnants, welcome mats... (snowmobile track was a favorite, everybody had old track or knew someone that did) |
