anybody have a rare truck slip away?

Now, I enjoy building these squares and every once in a rare while one comes along that is just odd.....as in holy crap, I never seen one like this before!

That was the case several years back when I went to look at a 1974 C20. Owner wanted $3200 for it and it had just a touch of rust above both rear wheel lips...nothing scary tho and the firewall-floor pinch weld seam was starting to seperate a bit-that was it.

The goodies? It was a burnt orange/cream 2-tone with flawless interior-show condition with factory buckets, console, gauge package, power windows/locks and dealer installed rear slider, delay wipers, AC and tilt. Truck had 70K original miles on its 454/TH400 4.10 geared drivetrain. It had emblems showing a GVW of 9200 LBS along with tee-pee so I'm thinking it has a towing package as well? Truck has a topper on it since New and bed floor was spotless. I counted 12 leafs per side! Truck was a beast but what was so cool was the interior was like brand new! Bad news? I seen the truck about a year later, somebody had it loaded down with corn selling them on various city lots. I bet the interior is trashed now....oh well, it was cool when I seen it-wish I could have rescued it!

My truck is the first I have ever wanted, but I once passed on a GN for $1,400 because I was mad I couldn't get them to drop the price. "Youth is wasted on the young"

Being honest. Are any of these truck rare? I mean, like COPO Camaro, GT500 rare? I've read about Big 10's and Gentlemen Jim's before and they are uncommon. I figured most trucks that were ordered could be considered rare as people put goodies on them to suit their own taste. I'm just glad they made a hundreds of thousands of them cause they are all a little unique cause over the years people have done things to them to make them their own and I like to see that.
