suspension overhaul

so i have a 85 k10 with i think is 4-6 in of lift. there's blocks in the rear and then the front has extended shackle on the rear eye of the front leaf. i'm running 37's.

so this is the list i'm in the process of putting together. i think i'm gonna try for 6-6.5 of lift all around.

for the rear:
2.5" rear shackle flip with 4" shackles. use stock 52" leafs

for the front:
diy4x b-52 bracket so i can put 52's up front.
then upgrade the rear eye frame bracket (ORD FUSH kit)
should i put shackle on both front and rear eye or what length?

i've read some stuff about putting 52's up front and i'm getting the impression they give like 4" of lift.

if you have any suggestions or if i'm missing something i should consider let me know. i DD this put plan on some minor wheeling. i've built up a couple jeep but this is my first squarebody. so leafs in the front is new to me.

Re: suspension overhaul

From what i've read and mind you this is all internet heresy but the 52s end up being..... looser i guess im not really sure of the word but they are more designed for flex i would say so with minor wheeling and majority DD i would stick with regular springs, save money and put it elsewhere
