Is there hardtop mounting differences
2 Attachment(s)
Are there differences between years 69-72 in how the hardtop attaches to the rear of the body? I have a 69 that does not nor appear to ever had the rear hold down brackets like my 72 has. Here is a pic of the 69 first and my 72 second

Early ones didn't have that bracket. I have a friend with a 70 Jimmy, that he has had since it was nearly new. His never had rear brackets, or the driprail deflectors.

Re: Is there hardtop mounting differences
Can anybody think of any '69 only differences? I know on my '69 that the front pass seatbelt is bolted to the bed floor rather than the floor pan and 69/70 have a diff pass seat bracket. Any other differences?

Hey Briank you did some great pictures of the floor-pan work, I too took a floor pan from a pick-up truck, I laid it out where to cut off the back and the brake line to bend up 90degree, after I laid it out I crossed checked with the picture of your work, matched up great. Thanks again
