Period correct camp trailers?

Anyone have a camp trailer the same year of your truck that you still use? Cuz when I get my truck done some day I think it would be really cool to pull a camp trailer the same year as my truck. Please post some pics if ya got' em.

Don't have pics but it's an old Coleman tent trailer - pop up. It's seen some miles, Yosemite, grand canyon, RT66, etc... Still a nice unit.

I dont have a camper, but I do have a 74 Dixie boat with a 72 Evinrude I pull with my 72 Cheyene.

The boat is green just like the truck (not the exact shade).

My 68 C20 and 68 Airstream Ambassador International 28'. Camp in it, lived in it for 6 months working in Mississippi, 5 months in Baton Rouge and New Orleans. Towed there of course with the 68 C20. Jim

I've been thinking the same thing. I found some old trailers on CL awhile back, and thought it would be cool to find one to match my C20.

I'm interested too. Pull behind or slide on camper would be good. Those aluminum slide on campers are classic but heavy and I don't want to make my truck work hard any more, it's hard working days are over. Many years ago dad had a camper on back and a heavy boat pulled behind and I don't remember him ever having trouble w it (a 1971 c20), I'd like to see pics of truck and camper/trailer too. Thanks

I have a 71 Serro Scotty Sportsman that Matches my 70 GMC. Pics are in the link to 'Rose' below. May have to sell her due to our wonderful economy.

Renokeene, I hope you don't have to sell your Scotty, it looks great behind your truck. Keep me in mind if you do.

I like the Serro Scotty trailers ;) They even make new retro looking ones but are a little pricey for there size. http://www.scottytrailers.com/trailergallery.php I believe the Highlander is around $15,000 :uhmk:
