Tire Diameter
 
Can anyone tell me the largest diameter tires that will fit under a TF truck at standard ride height?

your fenders are 12 inches wide,
I think you can get 36 inches tall,
But why would you?
The taller it is, the less power you can put to the ground. The shorter the tire, the more torque you can get out of it.
The taller the tire, the less your engine turns at high speed. But are you on the freeway with it a lot?
You need to come up with a tire that is wider, but not too tall, just enough sidewall and looks right for your vehicle.
THE DAYS OF BUYING A TIRE OUT OF A CATALOG ARE GONE......unless you are replacing some that you liked before.
You need to spend some quality time with your favorite tire dealer.

I have 255/50/17, 11 inches wide and 27.6 tall. 8.5 inch wide wheel. These are low profile tires. They come original on a 96 Impala SS. That is a big car that weighs almost 5,000 lbs.
Likewise, I have a truck that is about 4000 lbs. The tire is more than my weight requirement.

Yes. That is why I want a tall tire.
