Possible LS1 Swap - Fuel Pump Questions

Haven't posted in a while, but I must this time. Seriously considering using an 1998 LS1 engine and 4l60 transmission for my 70 chevy swb fleetside project. I already have the engine combo on hand, but my biggest worry is the fuel system. Originally I was considering using a 350 TBI engine, so I already have a 1989 S10 fuel tank. I am hoping I can use it as well for the LS1 swap. I also have the fuel pick up and fuel pump from a 1996 suburban that I will be fitting in that tank.

My question is, will the 96 suburban fuel pump work with the LS1 engine I want to use? Or, can I buy just the fuel pump for a 1998 Camaro and fit it in the pick up of the 96 suburban? Will it fit? Also, will the whole pick up and fuel pump from a1998 Camaro fit in the 89 S10 fuel tank? I am concerned about the fuel pressures required for this engine. If what I am thinking won't work, what other options I have? I am on a budget here and can't spend the money required for a custom gas tank at this time.

I thank you in advance for your responses.

Sounds to be exactly what I need. However couldn't find info on that pump, do you have a part number by any chance?

I think the number should be EP380. I run an EP381. Don't know the difference.

I used an '87 blazer 25 gallon tank, with a 1992-1994 s10 blazer CPI sending unit with pump (puts out 80 psi) with the c5 filter/regulator. Seems to be working great. Fired up the engine at least. And I beleive its a 0-90 ohm sender to match factory gauges if you like. I modified mine to read 240-40 ohms for my can bus gauges.
