Well i was surfing thru craigslist and came across a crew cab shortbed for 775.00 yep i said 775.00 obo. So i contacted the guy and struck a deal. Figuring i could get some parts for the 5 ccsb projects my buddies and i are working on. But i was mistaken. It has under 100k the interior is clean, it is so nice i was wondering if this guy was serious. So I asked if he had paperwork he said he went to dmv got some paperwork but it said dmv said it couldnt be driven ( non op ) so i offered him 600 and this is what i got.

Im a collector, a enthusiast, and a born and raised chevy guy. I would never sell my trucks because they become part of the family...... But for the right price they say everything is for sale. My wife needs a new driver because her malibu is falling apart.

Its California's way of charging you to not register your car. Its called a planned non operational permit. They charge you $15-20 a year to store your car at your house.

If you want to drive the car you have to pay the entire years registration to do so.

To bad you will need to pay for the storage in CA. That's why I keep everything running and I don't even live in CA. You don't have to worry about that in MO but you never know when you may endup in a communist state.
