Installing center rear seatbelts
I am wanting to install a set of center rear seatbelts on my 72 Blazer. Got a couple of questions.
1) What is the best belts to use, just an extra set of rears or something different? 2) Would you just bolt them through the mounting bolts of the inner position of the two outside sets so that 2 belts would be attached by the one bolt in a common position? thanks for any help. Did any blazers come from the factory with a center rear belt? |

Re: Installing center rear seatbelts
Hey I really appreciate the picture. I have never seen that before. I don't think it is factory either but I'm no expert. I was thinking about adding a center set by sharing the inner bolting location of the 2 belts already on the seat.

Here is a picture of my 1972 Jimmy. The center belt and one side of the outside belts bolt to the seat support like in this picture.

What does the seat support look like?
I do not have them on my '72. We're they standard issue or 4x4 only? Thank you, Bob Posted via Mobile Device |
