WTB brushed finished piece for console
 

Hi, I'm restoring my console and need the piece of brushed aluminum that goes on top of console. My console has the slots for the seat belts and the ashtray (no cups).
Looking for a new one. I will gift with PayPal.

Somebody was repopping these doing a very good job even pressing the indents but I cant remember who ?

29od1......thanks for the reply, but your link was for the trim ring. I need the piece that goes on the front side on the console.....it goes in place, then you insert the ashtray over it. I'm not sure what the technical name is......I've seen them in brushed finished, and a chrome finish.

Also, I have a tech question.....when restoring the console, do you paint the pockets where the seatbelts go the same color as the console color (red), or do always paint them suppose black?

I ordered these in bulk and they are aftermarket but very well made just like the original ones with the rolled lip and the recessed center for the ashtray. I would say these have more of a chrome look but not quit as shiny. I may have some old plates that I had made years ago that were cut out of 18 gauge stainless but the quality as far as the rolled lips and such these do not have but they would have more of a brushed look.
