Question regarding installing a sway bar on a '67 GMC
 

After searching the message board, it appears that if I want to install a sway bar on my '67 GMC I'll have to remove a couple of rivets and drill a couple of holes on the frame - but the other holes already exist on the lower control arm...right?

You shouldn't have to drill any holes. Just remove the 2 rivets that hold the bottom of the front crossmember to the frame. The other holes should all be in the frame and a arms to mount a stock front sway bar. At least they were on mine.

I will be installing one on my 67' Chevy C10 tomorrow. Just need to grind one rivet on each side and mount the frame brackets. I've been told to super grease the new moog bushings, cause it's going to be a squeek fest.

You will need to remove two rivets as has been mentioned. You MIGHT also have to drill the other two holes in the frame. Some frame have the holes and some don't. My 68 does not have them. Along with that, not all control arms got the holes drilled in the either.

My '67 GMC doesn't have the extra holes in the frame, but the control arms do.

Make sure you drill and finish one side at a time. You don't want anything shifting in the frame.

i wouldnt worry too much about installing the sway bar. they are pretty straight forward
