Truck dies then starts after a few minutes?

Hey my 88 with a 2.5l has been dying on me recently. Every so often it will randomly die and not restart. If i let it sit for a few minutes then try again it will start and run just fine. Any ideas egr valve maybe?

try the pickup coil under rotor bug i had same problem that fixed it
