77 cluster circuit board fit 76 too?
2 Attachment(s)
Hey There,
I have gauge cluster that appears to be close to my original (76). The only thing I see different is the 4 wheel lock light. I need to know if it is a go or not. If no as is, what changes need to be made. My original is very rough, most mount tabs are broke, no lens, and faded dirty gauges. The replacement is a 77? k truck unit maybe. I'm not sure, info I have found is not too clear. any help would be greatly appreciated. |

So the 4X4 light is just a bulb to put in?
my K78 and later ones have a seperate plastic socket for 4X4 hole your arrow appears to show it move spots ? my K78 has a choke light next to the 4X4 but it's not even opened/drilled for use |

I'm not sure on the bulb ,it appears that way. My truck is 2wd. I was thinking at worst, swap speedo's and be done.
Best case scenario, drop cluster in and go. |

no it dosnt move
just leave the socket empty it can be left out for a two wheel drive just not sure if the oil pressure and temp gauges measure the same could meter them for ohms Posted via Mobile Device |
Re: 77 cluster circuit board fit 76 too?
I have confirmed it is a 1977 K cluster. I just swapped housings and gauges, kept my 76 circuit board.
