Dual or single steering stabilizers w 4" lift 33" tires?

My new-to-me 72 Blazer has a 4 inch lift with 33" BFGs but is otherwise all OEM with original interior and underhood appearance. I'd like to remove the dual stabilizer setup on the tie rod and replace it with a single stabilizer to have a more OEM appearance. Does my 4"/33" combo need dual steering stabilizers or will a single stabilizer set up do the job? Thanks, Pete

If you're other components are in sound condition and the alignment geometry is set correctly I don't see why you need any "stabilizers"at all. My 66 is lifted and I run 35" tires and I don't use any.
Just my two cents.

Thanks - the front end is tight. With this ride I want it to look original - so want to put the single stabilizer system on it as GM did when it was manufactured. I've not had a truck with a 4" lift so wasn't sure if a dual system was a definite need or not.

a dual s. stabilizer really comes into play when you start going past 37-38" tires. i have new tie rod, ends, pitman, drag link, etc., on some hiways that have big rig grooves, it helps the tires from hunting around or if ya hit a pothole, the wheel doesn't spin off on you. some guys put them on to help with death wobble too.
with 33's, a single is sufficent.

Thanks for the help. It's a stacked dual set-up and I don't really like the look.

yeah, a single will tuck in nice behind the tie rod. had a stacked one before, was always smacking the bottom one

i put a duel inline on mine with 35"s primarily for looks  but hey, if i blow a tire its that much more control. and it did seem to help on the rough/rutted roads around here.

Thanks - I just got a black Monroe stabilizer from Monroe to swap in and have the correct 1972 tie rod bracket so all set. If anyone needs a dual stabilizer set up shoot me a PM. Appreciate all the help. Pete
