weatherstripping..
Bought a door weatherstipping kit yesterday and itll be here soon. My main question is how does the cab to door and the door gasket go on? Thinking it glues on, if so how do install it? Also I got a lock strip for my new back glass; its a roll that is enough for one use. Do I cut it at the bottom to corners of the gasket? Think thats all for now and thanks in advance!!

Re: weatherstripping..
The cab to door gasket sits over the pinch weld. It will be a little long, so make sure it is seated fully before you cut it. I like to use a rubber mallet for persuasion. The lock strip should be cut to fit as well. It probably doesn't go all the way to the corner, but under the corner pieces.

Make sure you leave about 2in extra on the cab-door gasket, if you dont, when it shrinks it will create a gap, which makes noise...

Re: weatherstripping..
So ill need to remove the interior trim to put the cab to door gasket on? So do I glue it onto the pinch weld?

Re: weatherstripping..
Put the backglass in friday and did all the weatherstrippinh on the drivers side. Found that the rear run channel bolt pulled the sheet metal around it out, no wonder the window wobbled around so much haha. Got a washer and fixed that problem. Its odd how quiet it is... cant wait to do the passenger side!
