center console swap into 99 silverado reg cab
 

I want to put a center console into my 99 silverdo reg cab, I already know that the console uses the same mounting points as the jump seat but I was wondering do I need any of the parts from the dash like the section with the glove box door etc or can I just remove my cup holder and install the console using my existing dash?

A friend of mine just did this swap.. He had to change the the glove box section and the section under the wheel to to get his to work..

All depends on what console you are using..If you are using a 99-02 console, then nothing needs to be done...If you are using a 03-06 console, then yes, you will need the lower dash pieces....I just did this swap in my regular cab 2000 a while back...I used a console from an '02, took out the cassette player that was in the console, and ordered a "pocket" to take it's place...

I got this message a lil late lol I got all the pieces including the dash but that's ok I got it all for 60 bucks, need to order that pocket piece for the spot on the console the one I got had the cd player
