New use for 60-66 Hood
1 Attachment(s)
Check this out. I was at a street rod buddies the other day and he had added a cover over his side passage door into his shop. He is not even into vintage Chevrolet trucks but had asked one of his friends to find him a hood of some sort to use for the project. He lined the underneath with aluminum and filled the holes in the front to keep all the bugs and birds from nesting in it. Turn signals now have 110V amber "pig tail" bulbs that come on when he turns on the lights inside the garage. I have a small wooden cover over my passage door now but I guess I need to be looking for a spare hood!!

The tailgate bench is another project on the back burner. I have another bed that I was going to turn into a real "flower bed", but the girlfriend didn't like the idea.

Like that a lot

That is very cool. That would be a nice purpose for one of those shorty hoods off one of the big truck models.

this is funny. I had my truck at a car show and a guy commented that the hood was big enough to be a patio cover. I guess it will work. lol
