cut you fuel pump wire at the relay and put a switch under the dash. that would be the easies way to prevent theift.

I assume that's how mine was done by the previous owner. All I know is it has a hidden switch to kill the fuel pump. Works like a charm!

i tapped into the ECM fuse on fuse block and put a switch above the ash tray so you have to open it and know there is a switch there to flip it.

My old 94 GMC Sierra had one in glove box that killed the fuel pump signal. Worked great.

Well, now we know! ;) I was trying to be a little discreet with mine, not saying exactly where it's located. I trust my fellow truckers on here, but ya just never know! My dad's car hauler got stolen from his back yard this past June, in broad daylight; and it's in the city with views from every angle. What makes it even worse is that his '66 C-10 chop top cab that just came out of storage was covered up on the trailer, a sentimental rust-free cab he'd owned for 30+ years! Needless to say, I despise theives.

The fuel pump wire works very well.
The lower rear radio support bracket has a hole that's perfect for a toggle switch, keeps most of it out of site. Push a piece of vacuum line over the toggle, cut to length. (Long arms help, as it is close to the fire wall, but reachable and hard to see)
I know it works, "they" rolled my '92 down the driveway, pushed it up the street with another vehicle, but couldn't get it started. Then trashed my trailer brake wiring, dash board, dash wiring, and column, But I still had my truck. I now have same switch, Viper alarm, the "Club" and a 100lb Lab. No problems yet.

Truck stays parked in the garage or right outside my bedroom. Plus I have a 135 pound great dane and the sound of her barking is enough to make anyone (myself included) think twice if she sounds agitated. Last ditch effort I go out there with my .40 cal and administer some high velocity lead poisoning.

But really an alarm, kill switch, the club, etc only keep the honest people honest. Any real thief is going to steal it someway some how.

Personally if they take my truck and trash the inside and strip parts from it I don't want it back. It would just be a heartbreaking reminder. It's just this violated feeling I would have over the ordeal. I do love my truck and that's why it is fully insured! There are plenty more of them out there and I have proof of all the stuff I have repaired or replaced to make sure I get what's due to me.

 Ah heck i dont care thats what insurance is for and if im home and hear it cranking away in the middle of the night the thing they will hear is a safety clicking off

That sucks about his stuff, sorry to hear that the worthless took advantage of yet another hard working person.
