65 Factory 283V8 Factory Automatic Big Window 4sale
 

I have an un-touched 100% original rare big rear window, custom cab 65 Chevrolet longbed for sale and it is a factory automatic with numbers and date code matching "WE" suffix coded 283 V8 still in it. It has a un-cut dash w/ factory AM radio still in it and has Deluxe guages vs idiot lights which is a plus. Has the highly desirable factory red & white two-tone paint code and full foam deluxe seat w/ rare factory red vinyl border too. It had a camper on it most of its life and the tailgate, whole inside of the bed, and wheel tubs are near perfect. most of the original wood is in the bed too so it never had a metal floor put in like most. It has normal rust holes along the sills and one bad cab support but no inner or outer roof rust so you would just do the typical rocker replacement and floor repairs to this one as you would do to any 60-66 truck. Only un-original thing on this whole truck is the old man's kid removed the 2bbl intake and carb and installed a 4 bbl aluminum intake on the engine, and HEI distributor otherwise the 283 and rest of the truck is 100% stock and still has the script valve covers. The only things I see missing off this truck to make it run are the 4bbl carb and radiator. Was asking 1700.00 - NOW REDUCED TO 1500.00 do it can go to a nice home where it will be loved instead of sitting in my horse pasture!!

Not that is matters but the big rear glass is factory "Soft Ray" tinted too....that is a pretty rare and cool option I think....this truck deserves to be saved and restored I think....1700.00 seems like a low price to me based on what I see out there so maybe someone can swing it and still afford to come get it.

I could deliver to surrounding states for gas money if needed - located in North East AL

Bringing this truck back up because I have dropped the price to 1500.00

You can't buy a POS for that and this one is factory automatic, factory V8, tinted glass, big rear window, custom cab, etc - one of you guys has 1500.00 to donate to a good cause and walk away with something this cool - right?

in 2008 you could sell a truck like this for 3K and now I can't seem to get interest at 1500.00....I guess I will end up keeping the darn thing and using it for parts if I can't get 1500.00
