98 Yukon defrost help

recently replaced actuator motor beside gas pedal. lots of flow out defrost vents, very little out cabin vents. help , about to go crazy with this ac crap😝😝.

check the linkage above the motor. The connections can come loose and the lower arm will move but the upper one doesn't.

found the problem- rod is free from the directional dampner.
gues tje whole box has to come out for repair??
