oil breather??
 

ok so i am geting my wreaker ready to hit the road again after a few years. and i put a new edl 1406 on it and i am tuning it in and i hear a constint air wistle. pull the breather in it is under vaccum. alot of vac. with out it she seems to run better. lower idea more throttle response. i am lost. yes it has a pvc and yes it works. help

Which port is timing advance connected to?

none at the moment the are cap off. this is pulling a vaccum at the vavle cover. into the motor

What does the breather look like?
Got a pic?
I had one that was plugged inside. Couldn't pull air thru it.

ok it is in the motor. even with the the breather out it is sucking in are and with the pvc out it is sucking in air too.
