Twin 3 barrel carbs
 

I am in the near future building a 350 to put in my 66 k10. I am interested in a dual 2barrel setup. I have been doing research, I am finding a lot of info about triple 2 barrels. Anyone out there tried a this setup or have any experience?

I'm not clear on what you're asking. The only dual 2 barrel manifolds I've ever seen were for flathead Ford engines. I've never seen this arrangement on a Chevy V8. If you're asking about triple two barrels, I owned one car with that arrangement and loved it. Basically the engine runs on the single 2 barrel carburetor in the middle, just as if it had a 2 barrel manifold. Then when the throttle is floored the other two cut in until all 3 reach wide open at the same time.

A triple two barrel intake is the most fun induction system I've ever owned.

I am interested in a dual 2barrel intake setup, You are correct I have never seen one outside of a flathead ford either. Thats why I wanna do it!

NO on the experience, but here is another one from Speedway Motors it's a little cheaper but not much. A good Edelbrock 1404 is only $289 but if you have dollar bills hanging out of your pockets @$779 go for it the Weber set up is only $1559..Vernski

amccomb was looking for a twin 2 barrel set up, the title of the thread started out as twin 3 barrel carbs. This is a new set up with the 2, 2 barrel witch Mark posted from the Goodguys show anyway that's what caused the confusion..Vernski:thumbs:

No worries, I am not the best with comps. Thanks for the pics those are great options. I still cant decide between a trip setup or a adapter for twin 2barrels. I am in the beginning stages of my 350 build so I got time to decide.

I think your best bet here would be Speedway Motors either direction you take.
Their pricing is hard to beat anywhere else but it sure don't hurt to look around to see what's out there..Vernski:lol: The twin 2 barrels kinda grow on you.
