Oil cooler line leaking at filter

I am working on the old body style 99 extended cab with the 5.7l. The lines are leaking where they connect to the filter housing. There seems to be no orings when I look at the schematic. There is only the plastic clips and the fittings that screw into the filter housing. Is the connector clips usually the culprit on these or what. The lines are still in and have not been taken apart yet. There seems to be issues with these lines on alot of different GM vehicles but not sure what the fix is on them.

It's a very common problem. The fix is to replace the lines. If I remember right the seals are plastic, nylon like rings. I don't remember them being available separately.

I was wondering if we were going to have to do that. Just didn't know if maybe it could have been the fittings that go into the filter base or maybe the clips could be replaced.

I take it that the new clips come with the new lines then?
