Transmission oil

Hey guys, I am thinking to change the transmission oil, but I don't know what is the right transmission oil for TH400 on my Chevy 1972. somebody can tell me what oil is right to use in TH 400 AT.

Thanks:chevy:

Dexron III...that's all you'll need, although some would recommend Type F, just don't use B&M Trick Shift....I recently did a fluid change on mine and all they had at the store was B&M Trick Shift, well I can tell ya i'm not happy with the performance of my 400 on that stuff so I need to drain it again and get back to my Dex III.

I would just use dextron III, using type F would burn a transmission up. Some people were lucky and says it mak3es the shifts firmer but id rather make the transmission built to shift harder rather than the fluid doing so.
