Seat Identification Help!

Cross posted qestion:

Bought a large lot of parts that spanned 67-72 truck parts and 79 K5 parts.

I first thought these seats were from 73-ish K5 because of the mounting brackets but the seats themselves make me think of the first generation K5's.

Anyways, please help me figure out what year these are out of.

There was some I think work issue bucket seats that were kinda shaped like that. But I'm far from an expert to say yes thats them.

I'll be switched... I had some guys on another forum tell me the same thing and I thought they were sniffing glue... These have the patina of a seat from the early 70's I'm surprised!

Anybody know if they can be modified to fit in a earlier K5 or 67-72 pickup?

Anything can be made to fit, those really shouldn't be too hard, and at least to me, were very comfortable.

As for patina, that depended entirely on how much seat time you put in them, I drove mine all over the US, only took a couple of hundred thousand miles for them to look like that...... :)
