1967 C10 TH350 install

New Guy.... I am installing an automatic TH350 in my 67 Chevy C10 and am wondering if someone could tell me what would be the best floor shifter out there for my application. What works best and is easy to operate and install.

Thanks

a stock auto column and shift linkage is the way to go

I changed my auto column with an Ididit column and moved the shifter to the floor. Lokar shifter is the best way to go IMO.

I too will be doing this to my truck very soon. Mine has the removable tunnel currently. If you plan on keeping your bench seat the installation will be a bear. But on the other hand if you are using buckets then floor shifter will be a bit easier. If you have some kind of platform or center console for your floor shifter to set on your half way there.

Or you could modify your shifter arm to have a very long reach. Either way the installation may not be straight forward. As a column shifter is very simple for stock applications.

Good luck.

Column shifter is easy and easy on the wallet...If you go floor shifter (which is cool too) As mentioned above, "Lokar!" ;) http://static.speedwaymotors.com/RS/...4919351A_L.jpg

I don't know how popular it is with other guys, but I have a B&M truck mega shifter in my truck. My truck is more of a toy and hotrod rather than a daily driver though. Easy install and is fun to drive in my opinion. Plus the truck is a hotrod so it helps complete the truck imo.
