Need South Carolina members.. Titling non title truck
 

Any South Carolina members have any advice or expeirence buying from a state that does not require older vehicles to be titled I'm soon to be purchasing from one of these states and sc DMV is not easy to get a direct answer from. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks

this can really be a pain to get straightened out S. C. will not give you a title from a bill of sale from another state. Call the dmv in the state where you want to get the vehicle from. They should be able to give you advise. If the seller wont help walk away from the deal

When I finally got some one at scdmv that could half way give me an answer they said a bill of sale and the po original registration not a copy however I was way past the point of thinking clearly and didnt ask if it had to be current. The truck hasn't been driven in five years.
