Former Ford guy from Alaska

Hi...
As you have prpbably guessed, I'm new here...
I have been primarily a ford owner most of my life. However I find myself running (and not complaining about), chevy's...
My 85 cargo van is my most practical, and until it got caught in a flood, my most used vehicle... Rebuilding it will take time.
However the vehicle I am driving, and which caused me to register here is this bugger...
Penelope wasgiven to me several years ago, but I have not put her on the road until this year (see above mentioned flood)..
I'm a poor homesteader in Alaska, so all my vehicles are veterans and have experience.
She is a 68', and was owned since 72' by the same person.. He took rather good care of her, but she was a work truck...

She runs very well, but the cab is in bad shape... I don't want to scrap her because the rest of her is viable, and she has some snort left in her..

I'm here to see how I can at the very least keep her goin, until maybe I can spring enough cash to fix her up and make her pretty...
This body style is so classic, and you just don't see them.... Maybe you guy's can share some wisdom and advice... as I am really just a novice..

ciao y'all.....
