1949 Chevy 1/2 ton Bedsides
 

******Price lowered $250.00***** I have a pair of bed sides from a 1949 Chevy. I believe the are the same for 1947-1953 but could be wrong. They are in good used condition for thier age. I was going to use them on my 1946 but decided to go with the correct ones for the truck. They have had a couple extra holes drilled in them to try to get the 46 fenders positioned. They do have some pitting but are solid for the age. There is some issues around the stake pockets. $250.00 for the pair picked up in Shelburn, IN or I might be able to get them to southwest Michigan for pick up if you are not in a hurry for them. I am sorry but I do not know how I would ship them. I will work with you the best I can for pick up.

I have an interest, other than the extra holes and issues around stake pockets, are there any major dents on the sides?

Here are some more pictures. I am not a body man but here are the issues that I am seeing is:

one end of one tube has been flatted on the edge. first photo
one has little dimples along the floor are that looks like spot welds or something. I tried to picture in 2nd photo.
There is some pitting where it had surface rust before they were cleaned up and primed. 3rd photo
