Questions about repurposing brakes from 73 or 78
 

I have a 68 with stock drums and manual steering and wondering if anyone has used parts from a 73 or 78 and what's involved in the swap? I have no problems with cutting and welding but was wondering does the whole suspension need replacing or just spindles? I can get either truck as a whole so it would be around $400 for the swap (along with the work) Any help with this would be greatly appreciated thank you

I'll be posting my build when I am closer to getting it done

You can swap from the control arms out or change the front crossmember.Do a search and you will find plenty of info on the swap to help make your decision.
