Truck/car guy's Shangri-la?

My wife and I always argued about our old house. She wanted to live more out in the country. I didn't want to give up my 5 garage stalls and 100+ feet of lakeshore.

Then we found what looks to be the solution to our problem:

The attached garage came complete with the correct signage:

Nice, but you are never going to be able to enjoy the garages with all that mowing you have to do. I broke a sweat just thinking about mowing that.LOL

Best of all it has a 30x32 pole shed with concrete floor. I still have tons of stuff to sort through and store but in the near future I should be able to get tons of work done in there.

Busted! dons72 is right. I have tons of grass to mow. To the tune of 4 hours a time with my current mower...
But I didn't have to give up my lakeshore.

Man, your lucky...One day I'll have something like that. Until then I'll have to keep moving my cars around to keep the city off my case.

I think I just found a spot to park the motorhome for the summer! Think of it as a spot of grass you don't have to mow! Your new place is looking very nice. Well worth the trouble of moving. Now get to work enlarging that shed. It doesn't look like you can turn yourself around in there.

Bring that motor home by! I'm still busier than a one-legged man in a butt kicking contest but one of these days I'm gonna head down there and pick up that bumper.

Sort of a little off the topic...

Out here in San Diego that would cost a fortune. I see that you are in Minnesota and if you dont mind what did that cost you? Always had a dream of selling my house taking the equity and buying a house on a lake/river with a decent size garage.

Just curious, what does a house like that cost..

mrein3 07-06-2003 10:28 PM

They were asking $419,000. We didn't go quite that high.

The beauty of it is we sold our old place, and the extra lot next to it (both lakeshore lots) and ended up with the EXACT same mortgage...
Only with 5 more acres of land.

and what looks like a better house and a better shed. Looks like you will need to change your .gif avatar to the new place. Don't forget to add 1 pic of your million $ view.
