1985 gmc c3500 3+3

Well last week I acquired (well actually the fiance' acquired) a new truck in the fleet. Found a 1985 GMC C3500 3+3 on craigslist about a mile and a half down the gravel road of all places. It's got the typical Midwest rust, but the underside is still pretty solid. Has a crate 454 with roughly 25,000 miles on it and rides like a caddy down the road. It needs a few small things like the exhaust leaks fixed, a good washing, and some lights replaced, but overall a pretty decent truck. It has power windows, locks, 4 speed, hydro-boost, an A/C truck but doesn't work, gooseneck hitch, and soon to have a bumper hitch. The guys mother-in-law bought it new to pull there 2 horse trailer all over the country to shows. For now I just plan on driving as is until my crew cab is finished. Then on to this one. The fiance' is going to school to be a vet and wants to use it as her vet truck when she's done.

That is a pretty nice truck Mathew! At least you have a lot of parts laying around that might fit it. I'd be ditching those hub caps and getting some simulators though.

Went down to mom and dad's this weekend and did some cleaning and found a few items for the old truck. I often find myself asking why do I keep all this stuff from old trucks that have been parted out and now I know why.
