I believe they are unique to the GJ trucks

Nice unit...I don't think it is 100% correct

The front buckets are in cloth ...I have only ever seen vinyl on trucks

$50,000.00 in todays world is a lot.

Most square bodies top out at 25-30,000.00 ....and that is for original paint /under 10000 mile short beds

The hood stripes, bed decals and embroidered buckets all deviate from stock.

The bed rails, fog lights and tonneau covers were options on Gentleman Jim trucks.

I've researched a lot and never found a documented factory short bed Gentleman Jim or one with any other engine than a 350.

He won't get half that price lol... they sold one at the Dallas auto auction when I was there two years ago. In that condition too, went for $17k

You'd think for $50k you would at least get a 100% restoration. He didn't even bother to detail the wiring harness behind the brake booster. Looks like he used the same color of autozone aluminum to detail all the parts under the hood that should technically be cadmium, and to top it he put a Buick 350-4 sticker on the air cleaner. Also, didn't even clean or detail the frame.

This is just another example of people watching too much tv. Shows like Barrett-Jackson and Pickers and antique road show should have never been aired. They have exaggerated prices and reality so much so that we now live in an exaggerated world.

That guy has himself a nice $9000 daily driver.

Rant over.

He could be using a trick I used to do. Wife wants it gone, he doesn't, Prices it stupid high and tells the wife, nobody is buying. LOL.

If he really thinks that truck will bring 50k, he fell out out of the stupid tree and hit every limb on the way down.

That truck looks NICE! I would be hard pressed to sell that one if I had bought it new. It's not a 50k truck but it is nice. It has a few personal touches but most do.

A restored 69 Camaro would be cheaper.

I used to have an auto dealers license, and I hate that barret jackson TV show. Its done nothing but hurt everyone, even the sellers.

I'd tell the wife she'd better watch it or I'll sell HER!

Love the colors on that truck. Just screams 70's gaudy disco fever on wheels. Put on some plaid pants, a striped shirt, fluff the fro, and go for a cruise with the 8 track cranked.

The Beau James package also had optional bedrails, tonneau cover and fog/driving lights. The bedrails were a different style than the Gentleman Jim.

Look at the difference between the bases, the height and the shape of the rails themselves.
