Which wheels on a 77?
 

My wife and I are arguing over wheel choice. I'm wanting to put tires on the Rallies, My wife wants the Steels with poverty caps.

I would like y'alls opinions.

Compromise, Go with some option # PA6 Styled Wheels. Which is a factory white spoke with center caps like the rally wheels.

I like them, but I don't own a set. I'm just trying to get some good rubber on the truck, to putt around on while I fix the body issues and figure out what I'm going to do with the truck.

The tires are a set of 235/75r15 street treads that I scored for 80.00 dollar from a friend when he went MTs on his S10 blazer.

Looks to be a 77 short bed with sport rear bumper and the yellow color in the side trim..a 1 year truck.

If it came with dog dish caps why not keep it that way.

Just about everyone has rallys or aftermarkets...an original steel wheel/hubcap truck actually stands out today.

Keep it simple and clean...and it costs less.

It's actually a rally wheel truck. I got the steelies and caps off CL. The tires on the rallies were so flat the wheels were sunk into the ground.

We both know when and where to pick our battles. If I was spending money, it would be a big deal, but since both sets are already owned and the tires need to be put on one set or the other, it not anything to fight or get grumpy over. These won't be permanent rolling stock, just good rubber through the winter.

a pic of each white spokes and ralleys. White spokes are new. i restored the ralleys.

I liked my rallies but wanted poverty caps. Ended up with TTIIs. Both sets would look good. Still like rallies better though.

I vote for Rallies! ...but I'm a little biased.
Here's my truck, similar to yours, with 8" rallies up front and 10" out back.
