66 250 engine paint

Where could someone find the correct blueish green paint?

For my 1964, I've bought GMC Blue at OReilly's Auto Parts, and it is a perfect match.

I had this color matched from my '66 250, I think 230's were the same color. We used Mack truck paint code 14704, "jet turquoise". We left part of the white and black out when mixing the paint, then added them back in until we got it close. If I remember right, I think we ended up adding more black than the code called for. I may still tint it a little darker to match better, but that code will give you a good starting point. Different lighting conditions throw the color off between these two pics, and it has much more of a green tint in person.

I just went out to the garage and looked at the can that I got at OReilly's. It is Dupli-Color Engine Enamel, 500 degree ceramic. The number says DE 1608 G.M. BLUE. To my eye, it is a perfect match to the blue on the 230 in my '64 C10. So far, I've painted the valve cover, new water pump and radiator hose spout and it looks like a perfect match against the original paint still on the block.

I have an 81 Cadillac that uses the GM "Corporate" blue paint colour on the engine. Used in the late 70s/early 80s before GM went to black. I did a water pump on that engine, so I have some paint left over. I'll compare it to my engine in my 65 when I get a chance.

This is how Eastwood's Ceramic Engine Paint Chevy Blue turned out. I think it is very close to my original 1965 230ci color. This is my 1971-72 250ci.
