67 Drag Truck project - Need help
 

I'm feeling ignorant because I'm not sure what to ask. I've been browsing and doing some searches, but the picture is very fuzzy.

I have 67 C-10 that isn't a great candidate for full restoration. I have a PG 496, TH400 and 9" rear that I pulled from a 96 Impala drag car. I'm not sure what to do with the rear suspension. The 9" is built for the Impala. I'm hoping I can use it in the truck. I've read that the stock trailing arms are up to the task, and I've seen 4-links in trucks at the track.

BTW, I got the idea to do this after seeing drag tracks at the track. Two weeks ago there was a low 10s 68 C-10, and this weekend there were 4 or 5 trucks going rounds and looking great. The wife is ok with me doing this because it means I'll finally do something with the truck.

Also, is there anyone in the S.E. PA, DE, MD, NJ area that would be willing to do al little show and tell?

Ha, I guess I should read more. I never knew about this Famous 67 Drag Truck, and it's pretty much what I have in mind for my truck.

Beautiful truck! I hope mine turns out half as nice.
