bumpers?
 

does anyone know if bumpers from any of the 67-72 trucks are universal fit for all years and models?
I'm back after a long hiatus, and working on a new project truck.
original (10 years and running) project-71 suburban 4x4
new project(not much but some cosmetic/ interior details)-70 suburban ambulance, mostly original w/ 50k original miles

I would say no. But, I have seen them on the 67/72 trucks that someone fabbed on.

Can you elaborate on what your are thinking about doing?

im basically looking for any type of custom platform or utility bumper that would have been on the ambulance originally. winch, step, brush guard, etc. ive seen some online for reasonable price but they are typically from 67-72 pickups and im not sure its a bolt on kinda deal, probably is in the front but not so sure in the rear.

coupla pics of the project specimen. currently getting UN lowered and converted to 4x4 with a floating 205 and 31x10.50s for a stock 4x look

I think they are the same regardless of year. Especially the rear. I have bought 4 over time. The fronts are different depending on GMC or Chevy.

Rear will all fit. Front GMCs generally have a relief for the grille marker lights. 71 and 72 Chevys have the marker lights.
