Front C/M suspension Question HELP!
 

Ok, odd question but please help if you can...

I have a 68 C30 1-ton with drum brakes.
I have a 71 GMC 3/4-ton Camper Special parts truck with Disc brakes.

Does anyone know if the 3/4 and 1 ton have the same front suspension?
They are both 8-lug and I am looking to swap to discs if it is the same.
But I want to make sure they are rated to handle the same load.

I am not for certain if they will have the same weight rating, but I would think so. Hopefully someone will post that has a little more knowledge on this. I think the extra capacity of the 1-ton and it's differences, will mostly be in the rear suspension not the front. But again, I could be wrong.
